As the pop world formulates a return, J-Randall plans to lead the way. The singer, actor, and dancer--a dynamic triple threat. This high energy performer is the next idol to hit the scene and has a new, funky R&B and “hip-pop” spin. J-Randall is also a songwriter and has been cultivating his solo sound for over a year now, mastering radio friendly hits that everyone can dance to. With much experience touring overseas as lead vocalist for pop boy band IMIJ, J-Randall is prepped to take his vivacious show on the road this year. You might have already seen J-Randall on your television screen during a commercial break in the Ford "Cruzin" campaign, in the new Sony speakers ad, or with Daddy Yankee in a Citgo commercial. He also shot a pilot sitcom for HBO titled Foreplay, and is the official spokesman MC for the music store FYE. Recently, J-Randall has appeared in a major motion picture called The Bachelor Party 2, the comedic sequel, starring Vince Vaughn. Influenced by Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and Hall and Oats, J-Randall got the urge to perform as a child. When he was eight-years-old, he would dress up like the guys in New Kids on the Block, singing and dancing to "The Right Stuff" for his sister's friends in the living room. J-Randall has grown up appreciating all genres of music and finds aspects of them that he carries into his own songs. In his teen years, he was greatly affected by Usher, and Justin Timberlake who took dancing to a whole new level--which brought back the upbeat complex moves of Michael Jackson.
Now, it’s J-Randall’s time to shine. His upcoming album, Illusion, has an eclectic mix of tracks; some will make you get up and dance at the club while the ballads will capture the hearts of girls around the world. He plans on being a part of the next generation of pop history. So, ladies and gentlemen…hold onto your seats and get ready to experience the explosive energy of J-Randall.
